6 weeks post operation this Friday! Holler!

FINALLY started physical therapy 2 weeks ago.. started off with some light warm ups, stretching, icing… after a few visits, moved on to light strength training, stationary bike (10 mins) then weights and ended off with icing. Can’t wait to get on with the tough stuff! (Jumping, lateral movement, cutting, sprinting)..

Still have scaring from the incisions, but they’re slowly fading away. hair is also growing back on my left leg. yesssir.

I can’t wait to start running again!! Patience is a virtue!

ANDDDDDDDDD I”M BACKKKKKK!!!!!!

BACK TO WORK THAT IS… =)

Haven’t been able to update lately. been really busy!

I finally ditched the 1 crutch i was using for support. Still walk with a slight limp, but each day gets better, stronger, and faster. I haven’t started rehab yet =/

i’ll write more later. back to workkkkkkk!

1 week down. 25 togo!

Day 6 Thursday, August 6 2010

POST OP meeting with Dr.

Meeting went well. He checked how my knee is healing and asked questions about pain, crutches, medication, physical therapy etc… He said great things about the surgery. Operation took about 2 hours. Found a plica in my knee they needed to repair (What’s a plica?)… He then explained what a plica is (oohhh). Showed me the incisions and what instrument went where.. While he showed me pictures of the inside of my knee (taken from the arthroscopic scope) another tech came in and took out the sutures. Didn’t hurt at all, just felt a slight tug. Before they took out the sutures, he did a quick physical exam of my knee. He slowly bent my knee until it felt like it was felt pain… My knee felt as if it was going to snap! This Physical therapy’s definitely going to take a lot of work and dedication. I’m up for it. Let’s go! I’m excited to get this thing rollin’.

One of the best videos I’ve ever seen.

I don’t really watch movies that often but…
